If socializing healthcare is so bad, why are we so far behind?
We lead the world in research and prevention, but we kill millions of children for the sake of convenience and eat fast food. We have the ability to prolong life well past its natural expiration date, but at huge cost. That’s why our system is so expensive; it’s the best care in the world for as many as possible. Most socialized countries only have (X) amount of money to work with and provide adequate care to a limited number of citizens (most counties with socialized medicine are the size of individual US States) We provide universally available free healthcare to anyone who can’t afford it. You can literally sneak into this country in the dead of night, contract a fatal disease, and be treated for free until you die at a cost of millions to the hospital and private insurance.
